Supporting our Communities
Book & School Supply Drive
TopLine Credit Union Foundation, teamed up with the Africa Education and Health Initiative (AFEDHI) for the second year to further the educational opportunities of Nigerian students. The month-long book and school supply drive collected over 6,000 educational books, backpacks and school supplies for distribution. In addition, TopLine Credit Union Foundation awarded $1,500 in scholarship funds to AFEDHI to support post-secondary educational needs and goals of students in Nigeria.
CU Forward Day
Over 100 TopLine employees volunteered nearly 500 hours in our local communities for CU Forward Day, a statewide collaborative credit union event focused on spreading kindness and helping others.
TopLine volunteers made a positive impact in the communities by painting classrooms, preparing a spaghetti dinner, decorating for a community dinner event, yard work and fall clean-up, stocking food shelves, sorting clothing and school supplies, packing snack bags, decorating for the holidays, entertaining seniors by playing games and painting nails, and knitting scarves to donate to local foster youth.
School Supply Drive
TopLine employees and members donated over 800 school supplies and $800 in cash to help students start the school year off right!
Donations benefited Avenues For Homeless Youth, Community Emergency Assistance Programs (CEAP), Keystone Community Services and the Africa Education and Health Initiative (AFEDHI).
Knitting at Noon Club
A group of TopLine employees knit for a purpose!
TopLine's Knitting and Crochet Club has donated over 190 hats to Click for Babies, 300 red hats to the American Heart Association, 25 lap blanket to Maple Grove Hospital Hospice Patients and over 200 scarves to local foster children.
